Rookie sensation Cody Bellinger is only 21 years old, so one can assume he might not know much about life before 1995. But not knowing of comedian Jerry Seinfeld—who actually attends Los Angeles Dodgers home games—is a travesty.

And during Bellinger's interview with ESPN's Scott Van Pelt Friday evening, that travesty was revealed, much to the disappointment of Van Pelt.

Arguably one of the best sitcoms in history, Seinfeld was a hit during the 1990s. The show ended in 1998 before Bellinger turned three.

But come on, man. It's Jerry Seinfeld!

Bellinger's teammates aren't letting him live this one down.

Hey Cody, maybe brush up on some Seinfeld. It's still on TV somewhere pretty much every day.
