Williams is a co-captain of the 3 Headed Monsters with Rashard Lewis. Kwame Brown, Eddie Basden and Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf are also on the roster. The Monsters were playing against a Ghost Ballers team captained by Mike Bibby and Ricky Davis.
While the severity of Williams' injury is unclear, it's unsurprising to see guys go down already at the BIG3. Basketball is a game filled with injuries even when players are at their peak physical condition. Most of the guys in this league are old vets with tens of thousands of NBA minutes on their bodies; many of them have also not been keeping in NBA shape.
Williams hasn't played pro basketball since 2011. Coming back after a six-year layoff would be taxing for anyone's body.
