Dennis Rodman Jr. Shows Off Smooth Jumper in High School Exhibition Game
Dennis Rodman Jr. lives under the massive shadow of his eccentric father, an enigmatic figure who recently traveled to North Korea.
On the court, he's certainly nothing like his dad.
While the elder Rodman made his living cleaning up the glass, his son flaunted a picturesque jump shot during an exhibition contest at Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California. His team, Corona del Mar, suffered an 80-69 loss to the host school, but Rodman recorded 27 points.
Mater Dei's Spencer Freedman, a point guard committed to Harvard, also impressed with an 18-point display.
As a sophomore, the 6'4" Rodman Jr. averaged 19.6 points per contest.
Corona del Mar head coach Ryan Schachter told Orange County Register's Dan Albano in February that "He's one of the more underrated or unknown players in Southern California."
