In an interview with TMZ Sports, White—best-known for his role as Urkel on the 1990s' hit Family Matters—dished fascinating details on a young Kobe.

Before Bryant became the Mamba, a 17-year-old kid from Philadelphia took on college basketball's best, the UCLA Bruins, and won.

Bryant has never been one to back down from a challenge, so when he had a chance to go up against reigning national champions, you better believe he was game. And according to White, the future Hall of Famer balled out on the Bruins.
