Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo had one last professional athletic endeavor to handle before hitting the CBS broadcast booth.
On Tuesday night, the 36-year-old was an honorary Dallas Mavericks rookie. Romo showed some skills in practice earlier in the day, and the former Wisconsin high school player held steady as Dallas warmed up to play the Denver Nuggets.

There's no doubt Romo can play.
The CBS lead analyst was also introduced to a raucous American Airlines Center crowd.
Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett and offensive coordinator Scott Linehan were in attendance. Dak Prescott was not there to relegate Romo to a sixth-man role.
