Malcolm Brogdon Asks Bucks to Forgo ROTY Campaign and Give Money to Charity

Malcolm Brogdon doesn't want the Milwaukee Bucks campaigning on his behalf for 2016-17 Rookie of the Year.
Instead, the 24-year-old guard has asked his team to make charitable use of the money it would have put toward the effort.
Via ESPN's Ramona Shelburne, the Bucks released a statement Friday noting Brogdon's preference and listing qualities that make him ROTY material—besides the one made obvious by this gesture:
