Porter led the way for the West, scoring 17 points on 6-of-13 shooting. The Missouri commit also had eight boards and this highlight alley-oop posted by ESPN:
During the broadcast, Porter said, "I've got a lot of stuff to get better at, but I'm trying," per Alec Lewis of the Kansas City Star. But his game suggests he's a lot more ready than most high school seniors.
He has a wealth of perimeter skill for a 6'10" player and will almost certainly lead the Tigers in scoring and perhaps rebounds as a freshman. Wednesday was just a teaser.
Another player who delivered plenty of highlights was Sexton, a point guard who's headed to Alabama. He shot just 3-of-10 from the field but was tied with teammate Quade Green for a game-high seven assists.
This one to Knox, shared by SportsCenter, was one of the plays of the night:
And Sexton wasn't done there. He had another nasty alley-oop to Bamba, as seen on Basketball Society:
Speaking of Bamba, he may have been the star of the East. He went for 17 points (7-of-10 shooting), five rebounds and four blocks in 21 minutes.
His most enticing play might have been this block (or more accurately, complete shutdown) of Porter, shared by Scott Charlton:
Others who put together solid nights included Wendell Carter (Duke, 10 points and five rebounds), Mitchell Robinson (Western Kentucky, 14 points on 7-of-9 shooting), Jaylen Hands (UCLA, 14 points, three rebounds and three assists) and Knox (undecided, 15 points on 7-of-11).
