Yadier Molina Criticizes MLB for Security at 2017 World Baseball Classic
St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina, who is playing for Puerto Rico in the 2017 World Baseball Classic, is unhappy with the security provided to players in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Molina voiced his concerns to Major League Baseball in a post on Instagram:
Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports noted MLB is looking into the situation, and World Baseball Classic Inc. later released a statement on the comments, via Jesse Sanchez of MLB.com:

Molina's comments came after players from the Puerto Rico team were seen on camera during Saturday's game against Mexico going down the left field line to look into a disturbance in the stands.
ESPN's Marly Rivera captured video of the incident:
B/R's Joon Lee provided additional information, noting there was a fight in the stands and the team attempted to help break things up because it was happening near where players' families were seated.
Puerto Rico second baseman Javier Baez offered his take to Jesse Sanchez of MLB.com after the game:
"All I heard was [Puerto Rico manager] Edwin [Rodriguez] saying, 'Go back to the dugout.' I thought it was my team, and when I saw the brawl was in the family section, I saw my family and everybody's family trying to separate and try to be safe. Well, I got a little bit desperate, yes, because I hadn't seen what happened, but everything was under control. My family said that everything was OK.
"
Rivera added the family of Puerto Rico pitching coach Ricky Bones was brought into the team's dugout.
Sunday marks the last full day of Pool D games. Puerto Rico has already clinched a spot in Pool F for the second round, which will begin March 14 in San Diego.
