Kevin Durant Has Russell Westbrook Nightmares in B/R's 'The Shining' Homage
The Oklahoma City Thunder must have felt like they were watching a horror movie when Kevin Durant signed with the Golden State Warriors last summer. Perhaps they're not the only ones losing sleep over the decision.
On Saturday night, the star forward is making an uncomfortable return to Chesapeake Energy Arena for the first time to face a former ally who's haunting the NBA, and Russell Westbrook will likely enter the marquee matchup mumbling, "Redrum."
No longer needing to share the spotlight, the OKC point guard is averaging an absurd 30.9 points, 10.2 assists and 10.5 rebounds per contest.
Durant did not take the twins' counsel and decide to play with Westbrook "forever and ever and ever." As a result, he endured nightmares in Bleacher Report's tribute to The Shining.
