Dennis Schroder Says Isaiah Thomas Cursed at His Mom, IT Fires Back Denial

During a 103-101 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Friday, Boston Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas chirped out Dennis Schroder.

Per Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, "Thomas taunted the Philips Arena crowd by repeating that Schroder 'ain't nothing'" on his way to a game-high 28 points.

Schroder struggled mightily, scoring just four points on 2-of-11 shooting. Afterward, he accused Thomas of getting too personal with his trash talk, per Vivlamore:

"

Iโ€™m playing basketball. If he think that he got to curse at my mom or say some dumb stuff about my family, that has nothing to do with basketball. Thatโ€™s his choice. Iโ€™ve got too much class for that. Next one, we are going to get it.

"

On Sunday, Thomas offered a strong rebuttal while adding that Schroder "is not even on the level" he's striving for:

Thomas also called Schroder's accusation "disrespectful to my character."

This is not the first time these two have clashed, and it's unlikely to be the last.
