Dennis Schroder Says Isaiah Thomas Cursed at His Mom, IT Fires Back Denial
During a 103-101 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Friday, Boston Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas chirped out Dennis Schroder.
Per Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, "Thomas taunted the Philips Arena crowd by repeating that Schroder 'ain't nothing'" on his way to a game-high 28 points.
Schroder struggled mightily, scoring just four points on 2-of-11 shooting. Afterward, he accused Thomas of getting too personal with his trash talk, per Vivlamore:
"I’m playing basketball. If he think that he got to curse at my mom or say some dumb stuff about my family, that has nothing to do with basketball. That’s his choice. I’ve got too much class for that. Next one, we are going to get it.
"
On Sunday, Thomas offered a strong rebuttal while adding that Schroder "is not even on the level" he's striving for:
Thomas also called Schroder's accusation "disrespectful to my character."
This is not the first time these two have clashed, and it's unlikely to be the last.
