AP College Basketball Poll 2016: Complete Week 7 Rankings Released
For the second straight week, the Associated Press Top 25 looks a whole lot like its predecessor.
Villanova remains the country's No. 1 team after receiving 56 of a possible 65 first-place votes, keeping a sizable lead over a pack of teams jumbled closely together. UCLA, Kansas, Baylor and Duke round out the Top Five for the second straight week.
Here's a look at how the poll played out, per AP.org:

Surprisingly not making a move upward is Kentucky, which sticks at No. 6 despite a thrilling 103-100 win over North Carolina. Malik Monk poured in 47 points, including a three-pointer with 17 seconds remaining that put the Wildcats up for good.
The two teams put together one of the best regular-season college basketball games in recent memory, trading leads and a high-tempo style of play that made it clear both teams are potential March forces.
"If you watched that game, if you never liked basketball, you're going to start liking basketball," Kentucky head coach John Calipari told reporters afterward. "Like, wow."
North Carolina moved back just one spot, to No. 8, as a result of the loss. Undefeated Gonzaga inched ahead to take the No. 7 spot.
Indiana is the biggest loser among the elites, dropping from the No. 9 spot to No. 16 after a home loss to Butler. The Hoosiers nearly overcame a miserable first-half shooting performance with 50 points in the final 20 minutes, but they couldn't hold up defensively.
Kelan Martin scored 28 points for the Bulldogs, including five three-pointers, while Andrew Chrabascz and Kamar Baldwin were also in double figures. James Blackmon Jr. scored 26 points for the Hoosiers and was responsible for four of their six three-pointers on a night the team shot 28.6 percent from deep.
"It's really been a sum of the parts," head coach Chris Holtmann said, per David Woods of the Indianapolis Star. "Our offensive attack has been that for sure and has to continue to be that because we don't have two All-Big East players returning. ... It's been encouraging to see, but we're going to have to continue to move the ball, play inside out, attack in transition."
Butler moved up to No. 13 with the win, the biggest rise of any team for the week.
South Carolina, which dropped from No. 16 to No. 22, was the only other team to take a major tumble. The Gamecocks dropped their first game of the season last week, with Seton Hall going on the road for a 67-64 win. PJ Dozier missed two three-pointers in the waning seconds that would have either given South Carolina the lead or tied the game.
No teams moved in or dropped out of the poll in a relatively quiet seven days.
