
Former Stanford and NFL TE Konrad Reuland Dies at Age 29
Former NFL and Stanford Cardinal tight end Konrad Reuland died Monday from a brain aneurysm at age 29, Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh announced at his postgame press conference Monday night.
"Just want to offer condolences to his family," Harbaugh said. "We love Konrad Reuland. Every single guy in that locker room loves him who knows him."
The Ravens were one of four teams Reuland spent time with during his NFL career.

Denver Broncos running back and former Raven Justin Forsett expressed his condolences as well:
Harbaugh said Nov. 28 that the former tight end was in intensive care and would undergo surgery on his brain aneurysm.
Originally signed by the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2011, Reuland played for the New York Jets in 2012 and 2013 before suffering a knee injury. He signed with the Indianapolis Colts in 2014 but never saw the field before he was released.
He spent the next year with the Ravens as part of the active roster and practice squad before joining the Colts for training camp in 2016. Indianapolis released him before the season.
Reuland played 30 games for the Jets and Ravens from 2012 to 2015 and tallied 12 catches for 90 yards.
