Houston Rockets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder: Live Score, Highlights and Reaction

Jared JohnsonDec 9, 2016

The Houston Rockets held off the Oklahoma City Thunder down the stretch Friday night to earn a 102-99 victory over their Western Conference rivals. The Rockets are now 16-7 on the season, and the Thunder are 14-9.

Neither James Harden nor Russell Westbrook had their best nights shooting or handling the ball, but they stuffed the stat sheet and made an impact nonetheless. Harden compiled 21 points, nine rebounds and 12 assists, while Westbrook ended with 27 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

In a contest where neither team shot the ball well, it was the Rockets' offensive rebounding that made the difference. Houston gobbled up 16 boards on its own missed shots to keep numerous possessions alive.
