Rose Has Played Well in Debut Season with Knicks
Although Rose hasn't been able to turn back the clock all the way to his MVP days, which are likely a thing of the past, he's showed signs of a resurgence since the blockbuster offseason trade that sent him to the Knicks after eight years with the Chicago Bulls.
Of course, his career in the Windy City started with a meteoric rise that landed him among the NBA's elite. An extensive list of injuries brought an abrupt end to his early peak, however, as he lost some of the explosive playmaking ability that previously made him special.
He's managed to avoid any major setbacks since arriving in New York. That said, the 28-year-old Memphis product did deal with a back problem that cost him some time earlier in the year.
With Rose sidelined, Brandon Jennings entered the starting lineup and played a majority of the minutes at the point. Justin Holiday also saw an uptick in playing time as part of the backcourt rotation, with Sasha Vujacic seeing a few additional minutes as well.
