Official Look at the Adidas Harden 1, James Harden's First Signature Model
Houston Rockets guard James Harden has entered the sneaker world in force and aims to take it by force with his Adidas Harden 1.
The colorways are sleek in Harden's signature style, with the Adidas logo brilliantly placed on the back of the shoe while the lace tips and other areas complement the overall look in this flashy offering.
The first colorway, "Imma Be a Star," took the sneaker realm by storm, as B/R Kicks captured:

That's just the beginning.
Harden has several other colorways on the way, headlined by the "Pioneer" look, which follows the colors of his Rockets in epic fashion.
According to Sneaker Bar Detroit, the "Pioneer" drops December 3rd for $140.
Harden has made a point to rock them on the court consistently:
Can anyone blame him?
The shoes are incredible lookers, with the red-black laces fitting well with the red logo and outline around the ankle. It helps that Harden has a recognizable and memorable logo, which fits nicely right on the tongue.
A contrasting white dominating half the shoe brings it all together. Here's another angle, via Kicks Deals:
The bottom takes an all-white approach to help round out the look, too, coating an interesting design with the traditional feel.
Footwear News provided a look:
Ask Harden? He says he has the best shoe in the NBA.
“I think I do,” Harden said, according to Complex's Matt Welty. “It’s my first one. I’m extremely excited about it. Everything I do is swaggy, you know.”
It's hard to argue given the smoothness of the debut. Tim Newcomb of Sports Illustrated provided several other angles showcasing the possible new shoe juggernaut:
Harden has a winner on his hands. The base package is a looker, with more colorways such as the "Home," "Cargo" and "Gila Monster" on the way.
But sneakerheads knew this was coming. Harden has created a shoe capable of fitting in with almost any environment off the court, not to mention turning heads while at it. On the court, of course, it will perform like one of the best given the latest in Adidas' performance technology.
While the sneaker game belongs to LeBron James and Stephen Curry, it looks like Harden has enough here with the Harden 1 to elbow his way into the discussion.
Either way, sneakerheads win.
