Matthew SchmidtNov 26, 2016

Stephen Curry scored 34 points, Kevin Durant added 28 and the Golden State Warriors defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves, 115-102, at Oracle Arena on Saturday night for their 11th straight win.

Draymond Green missed the game with a sore ankle.

Durant gladly filled the role of rim protector in Green's absence, blocking a career-high six shots. He also pulled down 10 rebounds and dished out five assists in a superb all-around performance.

For Curry, 17 of his 34 points came during the third quarter, where the Warriors scored 34 points as a team to open up a 90-73 lead heading into the final period.

Golden State never really ran into any kind of trouble over the last 12 minutes.

It wasn't easy all game for the Warriors, though, as the Timberwolves took a 33-30 advantage into the second quarter.

Zach LaVine led Minnesota with 31 points, going 13-of-24 from the floor.

Karl-Anthony Towns added 18 points and nine boards.

While Golden State did extend its winning streak, its stretch of 10 straight games with 30 or more assists came to an end against Minnesota, as the Dubs tallied only 25 assists in the victory.

The Timberwolves will host the Utah Jazz on Monday night.

Meanwhile, the Warriors will play host to the Atlanta Hawks that same evening.
