The Miami Herald's Barry Jackson noted Dolphins head coach Adam Gase told reporters "things look good" for Albert playing Sunday "but hasn't had definitive talk with him yet."
Gase Comments on Albert's Injury
Wednesday, Nov. 16
Gase did not rule out surgery, adding, "We'll handle what we need to handle," per the Miami Herald's Adam Beasley.
Gase addressed the injury after Albert left against the Chargers on Nov. 13 but was able to return, per Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald:
"If he couldn’t go, he wouldn’t go. If he said, 'I can’t function,' he wouldn’t go out there. When he said, 'I’m ready to go out there,' I felt good about it.
Right now we’re going through the stages of having the hand specialist look at it to make sure no further damage can be done. It’s anything that ... there’s all these little steps you have to go through just to make sure we’re not hurting him for the future or affecting his long-term career or anything like that.

Albert's Return Will Provide Major Boost to Dolphins
The Dolphins are in the midst of a six-game winning streak that has put them firmly back into the playoff picture, so changing the makeup of the offensive line at this point isn't ideal. Laremy Tunsil's natural position is left tackle, but he's certainly gotten in a groove at left guard, while Albert has been good to the outside of him.
Still, the Dolphins have turned their season around by playing solid defense and leaning on Jay Ajayi. That shouldn't change, though Albert's health this season will be vitally important for the Dolphins as they look to secure a playoff berth.
