Stephen Curry scored 33 points to guide the Golden State Warriors past the Denver Nuggets on Thursday night.

The league's reigning MVP connected on seven of his 13 three-point attempts, adding seven assists while Golden State (7-2) secured its third straight win.

Led by Curry, the Warriors buried 14 shots from long distance. Klay Thompson hit a trio of triples, finishing with 19 points. Kevin Durant added 18, though his 72-game streak of 20-plus points ended.

Denver (3-5) fell behind early and couldn't hang around. Although six players reached double figures, Malik Beasley led the Nuggets with 14 points after entering with the outcome decided.
