Jared JohnsonNov 4, 2016

The New York Knicks used a 10-0 run to open the fourth quarter to pull away from the Chicago Bulls on Friday night, winning 117-104. New York moved to 2-3 on the season, while Chicago fell to 3-2.

New York's Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah made the most of their return to Chicago by playing their best games of the season. Rose finished with 15 points, seven rebounds and 11 assists, while Noah pumped in 16 points, nine rebounds, four assists and three steals. Kristaps Porzingis and Carmelo Anthony also had 27 and 25 points, respectively, to pace the Knicks.

Chicago didn't go down without a fight, though. Dwyane Wade had a monster game, scoring 35 points and grabbing 10 rebounds as he shot a surprising 5-of-7 from three-point range. Jimmy Butler added 26 points.

Overall, the contest was a definite confidence builder for a Knicks team that has plenty of talent, but hadn't put together its chemistry on either end of the floor until Friday.

The Bulls will attempt to rebound from their loss Saturday night in Indiana against the Pacers. Meanwhile, the Knicks will look to continue their offensive momentum against the Utah Jazz on Sunday.
