B/R Exclusive: Jordan Brand Celebrates Season Opener with Westbrook 0.2

The 2016-17 NBA season kicked off Tuesday, and Jordan Brand and Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook celebrated its opening in the Westbrook 0.2. 

Westbrook talked to Bleacher Report during an exclusive video shoot:

Obviously, I’m trying to be that athlete that’s able to have a shoe in the lifestyle aspect of things. Everybody always has a basketball shoe. That’s great, but I feel like I’m much more than a basketball player, especially when it comes to fashion. I want to be able to take control of that space as an athlete.

Jordan Brand released the Westbrook 0.2 in three colorways Oct. 15. Retail price is $140.
