Fan Creates Jack-o'-Lantern to Remind Warriors of Blown 3-1 Finals Lead
Time may heal everything, but it can't change one thing: The Golden State Warriors blew a 3-1 series lead against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2016 NBA Finals.
With the 2016-17 regular season just over a week away, basketball fans everywhere want to make sure everyone remembers what transpired in June. For one fan, Halloween provided the perfect opportunity to get creative with the joke.
The fan carved Kyrie Irving's Finals-winning shot over Stephen Curry into his pumpkin, creating a for the ages. (Fun fact: Halloween takes place on Oct. 31. Do with that what you will.)
Until some team blows a 3-0 lead in the Finals, the 73-win Warriors will always be linked to the biggest collapse in NBA Finals history. Fans will be more than happy to do some trolling in the meantime.
