It may seem weird that, as a Sprite endorser, LeBron James would never tell you to drink the lemon-lime drink—but he has his reasons.

Teaming up with Lil Yachty, the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar made quite an interesting commercial to promote the beverage. Some celebrities may sit there and tell fans straight up to buy the product. That wasn't the case here.

By the time James makes his pitch, he won't have to tell you to drink a Sprite. You'll just want one. And therein lies the genius.
