Nets Unveil New 'Brooklyn Remix' Alternate Uniforms for 2016-17 Season
The Brooklyn Nets are putting a modern spin on a classic look for a set of alternate uniforms they will wear during the 2016-17 season.
On Wednesday, the team revealed its new "Brooklyn Remix" uniforms. Like many alternates around the league, the Nets featured a color that isn't necessarily part of their color scheme. And they found a way to include both the city and the team nickname on the front of the jerseys:
The Nets' Caris LeVert, Chris McCullough and Jeremy Lin took part in the unveiling process. That gave everyone a chance to see the players' genuine reactions.
Perfect. Great. Dope. Nice.
Those are all adjectives used to describe the new threads. In other words, the designers got approval from the most important people—the players.
Brooklyn will debut its new uniforms in its home opener Oct. 28 and will wear the alternates a total of 12 times throughout the season.
