Steven Adams Says He Is Doing Fine Following Draymond Green's Groin Shots

Kyle NewportAug 17, 2016

Throughout an 82-game NBA season, players will suffer dings and scratches to their bodies.

Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams made it through the 2015-16 regular season in pretty good shape, playing in 80 games. When it came time for the playoffs, however, his body took a beating.

Specifically, his groin region.

During the Western Conference Finals, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green hit Adams below the belt multiple times. One of the groin shots even resulted in a flagrant-2 foul and a $25,000 fine.

There's no doubt Adams was glad when that series was finally over, win or lose. A physical series like that requires some recovery time, and, as it turns out, he's doing fine these days. He just finds it hysterical that people are so concerned about the status of his, um, groin.
