Enes Kanter Hits Lakers Fans with 'Crying Jordan' Meme After Westbrook Re-Signs

Kyle NewportAug 4, 2016

Sorry, Los Angeles Lakers fans. Oklahoma City Thunder center Enes Kanter couldn't resist breaking out the "Crying Jordan" meme when big news broke this week.

On Wednesday night, it was reported that the Thunder were in serious negotiations for an extension to keep five-time All-Star Russell Westbrook in Oklahoma City. Before the night was over, ESPN's Ramona Shelburne reported the two sides had reached an agreement.

That's a big deal considering many expected the point guard to test free agency after next season, especially now that Kevin Durant has left for the Golden State Warriors. One of the teams linked to Westbrook (a former UCLA Bruin) was his hometown Lakers.

Westbrook's reported extension means the Lakers will have to wait at least an extra year to pursue the Thunder star. For a team going through a rough rebuilding process, that's tough news to handle.

But wait...there's more:

Kanter's Twitter game is currently going strong.
