Rasheed Wallace Buys out Water Stock at Stores, Delivers to People of Flint

Kyle NewportAug 3, 2016

Rasheed Wallace spent five-plus years of his NBA career with the Detroit Pistons, and though it's been a while since he last played, he hasn't forgotten the people of Michigan.

With Flint in a water crisis, it was reported back in February that Wallace drove a truck from North Carolina all the way to Flint to deliver water. Well, he's done it again (at least one more time, that we know of), with some more help—including former teammate Stephen Jackson, ESPN's Rachel Nichols and others.

Nichols chronicled the event on Snapchat, showing that Wallace bought out the water stock at both Walmart and Target. While donating money would have been enough, the former NBA players delivered the water firsthand.
