San Antonio Celebrates 'Tim Duncan Day,' McDonald's Offers 21-Piece McNuggets

The people of San Antonio are really going above and beyond for "Tim Duncan Day."

For starters, City Hall marked the occasion with a giant banner on the front of the building:

The San Antonio Fire Department also decided to celebrate the day with a cool tribute to the recently retired San Antonio Spurs legend:

But wait, it gets better.

According to Ivan Herrera of KSAT 12, McDonald's restaurants in San Antonio will be offering a special deal: "In honor of Tim Duncan Day, greater San Antonio area McDonald's will be selling 21-piece McNuggets boxes instead of boxes with 20 pieces. The offer will be valid from Thursday until July 31."

You read that right. This isn't a one-day offer. This deal will go on for a week and a half.

And if there's anything this youth basketball coach loves more than a 20-piece, it has to be a 21-piece:
