Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the fact that nobody was selected didn't come as much of a surprise:
Purdue defensive tackle Ra'Zahn Howard was seemingly the likeliest candidate to get picked, as he registered 23 tackles and one sack in extensive playing time for the Boilermakers last season.
Per Bleacher Report's Jason Cole, though, teams didn't think much of his individual workout:
However, it didn't take long for Howard to find an interested team, as ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the Houston Texans will sign him. Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle confirmed the deal.
The result of the supplemental draft means all teams will keep their full allotment of selections for the 2017 NFL draft, and all players who went undrafted are free to sign anywhere.
Thursday marked the third time in the past four years that no players were selected in the supplemental draft.
