Nike Air Jordan 14 Retro 'Oxidized Green' Release Date, Pics, Price
| Saturday, July 16 | $190 |
The historic Air Jordan 14 "Oxidized Green" makes its triumphant return Saturday.
First unsheathed by the Swoosh in 1999, this classic design comes equipped with a white leather upper and eye-catching colors such as Legend Blue and, yes, Oxidized Green.
Here's a look at the release details, via Sneaker Bar Detroit:
B/R Kicks took a look at the shoe:
Looks like a normal kick at first glance, but like many classics, it's all about the details.
For instance, the must-see shielded Jumpman bathed in the shoe's epic Legend Blue, as Kicks on Fire showed on Instagram:
From a top-down perspective, one gets an idea of the sleek tongue design and the black Jumpman near the toes.
Nice Kicks provided the angle:
This classic wouldn't feel right without the proper backside, though.
There, Jordan Brand has outdone itself once again, boasting the design's three prominent colors with two of the most legendary decals in kicks history.
Sneaker News provided the zoom:
It's a looker from the bottom, too, where the Jumpman gets splashed with the shoe's namesake color, as captured by Jimmy Jazz:
Hard to hate the XIV there on the bottom to round out the entire picture, right?
Look, Jordan Brand knows what it's doing. There was zero chance it would forget this classic when it came time to unravel this summer's remastered lineup.
How could it? The Air Jordan 14 "Oxidized Green" has the look of one of the year's best releases both for its simplicity of design and brave splashes of color.
Sneakerheads can get their hands on the release starting Saturday.
