Kevin Durant has never been shy about his feelings on the media.

As ESPN.com's Royce Young put it, the soon-to-be Golden State Warriors star is not a fan of talking heads. In one instance, his irritation with a Skip Bayless tweet even compelled him to text a reporter requesting to be asked about what the former First Take personality wrote so he could respond to it on the podium.

Young recounted the event on Twitter as part of a bigger explanation of Durant's relationship with the media:

After one playoff game, Durant was at his locker reading tweets (as he would after most games). One from Skip Bayless really irked him.

It bugged him so much he sent a text to a reporter asking to be asked a question about Bayless at the podium so he could tee off about it.

Given Durant's apparent media-watching, the prospect of increased attention in Oakland should be interesting to keep an eye on.
