Lakers Have to Keep Dreamin' After Kevin Durant Chooses Not to Meet with Them

The Los Angeles Lakers may want to pursue free agent Kevin Durant, but it looks like they will have to keep dreamin'.

The 2013-14 NBA MVP apparently has no desire to meet with the storied franchise.

ESPN.com's Chris Broussard reported Wednesday that the Lakers were confident they would get a meeting with Durant, with one source saying, "I can't imagine Durant wouldn't talk to us."

Well, apparently he won't. Broussard followed up by reporting that the Lakers will not get to meet with Durant during free agency.

With that, reality set in for Lakers nation.
