Adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged: June Colorway Release Details

Adidas reinvented itself with the sleek Ultra Boost in 2015 and now looks to revolutionize the shoe game this week with the release of the Ultra Boost Uncaged.

Hinted at with leaked pictures here and there for months, Adidas has finally spilled the beans on the colorways set to drop, and it's a collection well worth the hype.

Here's a look at the release details, via Nice Kicks:

The colorway used in most of the promotional material, seen above, is quite a looker and the perfect way to show off all of the Uncaged's features.

Adidas took to Instagram to flaunt the new design:

Both familiar and new, this offering meshes well with how the public treated the first Ultra Boost—it does away with the Three Stripes on the side.

The result is a sock-looking shoe and, as one can see above, the stripes moved to the front of the shoe.

Kicks on Fire provided another angle:

In fact, the official site explained what makes this the next step in the evolution of a running shoe: "The full adidas PRIMEKNIT upper, featuring an internal support system, crafted specifically for UltraBOOST Uncaged, provides ideal support while adapting to your run."

The sleek black and white look isn't alone, of course. B/R Kicks provided a look at a silver offering dropping with the set:

No matter what colorway one gets lucky enough to find (these will go fast), the combination of style and performance is impossible to miss.

Whether it's the sleek design of the bottom, the triple-lace approach next to perforated holes or the sock-like upper, the uncaged is the perfect marriage of innovation both from the maker and its fans.
