Denzel Valentine's Long Road to the NBA Draft

Denzel Valentine has always had a home in Lansing, Michigan.

He played for his father, Carlton, at J.W. Sexton High School. He stayed in Lansing for his collegiate career and, like his father, played at Michigan State.

Valentine shined during this past Big Ten Tournament, winning Most Outstanding Player honors as the Spartans earned their fifth title.

He is a projected first-round pick in this year's NBA draft.
