1st Look at the NBA's Reported Christmas Day Uniforms for 2016-17 Season
After this season's Christmas Day uniforms drew strong reviews, Adidas has apparently decided to stick with the design and use it for next season as well.
On Wednesday, Paul Lukas of Uni Watch posted pictures, which he obtained through an Adidas catalog, of what are supposedly next season's Christmas Day uniforms. You probably won't notice much of a difference from this season's threads, but you will notice there is an offering for nearly every team:
Lukas noted there were uniforms for 28 of the 30 NBA franchises, with the exceptions being the Sacramento Kings and Utah Jazz, both of which are undergoing a process.
There are typically only a handful of games on Christmas Day, so the fact that each team will have these special jerseys probably doesn't mean they're all going to play on Dec. 25 next season. However, each team may wear these uniforms at some point during the holiday season.
Also, it's important to note that the 2016-17 campaign will be the NBA's last with Adidas. Nike will handle the league's uniforms starting in 2017-18.
