Golden State Warriors vs. Oklahoma City Thunder: Live Score, Analysis for Game 4

Matthew SchmidtMay 24, 2016

Russell Westbrook had 36 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists, Kevin Durant scored 26 points and the Oklahoma City Thunder routed the Golden State Warriors, 118-94, at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Tuesday night to take a commanding 3-1 lead in the Western Conference Finals.

The script in this one was similar to Game 3. The Thunder got off to a terrific start, building a 22-8 lead early, but the Warriors chipped away, trimming Oklahoma City's lead to 30-26 by the end of the first quarter.

Then, OKC erupted in the second period, outscoring Golden State 42-27 to take a 72-53 lead into the half. It was the second straight game in which the Thunder scored 72 points in the first 24 minutes.

Klay Thompson proceeded to score 19 points in the third quarter as the Warriors briefly trimmed the deficit to six, but that was as close as Golden State would get. Oklahoma City outscored the Dubs 24-12 in the final frame to come away with yet another blowout victory.

This marked the first time all year long that the Warriors had lost consecutive games.

Thompson led Golden State with 26 points. Stephen Curry scored 19 off just 6-of-20 shooting, misfiring on eight of his 10 three-point attempts.

Durant added 11 rebounds to go along with his point total, and Andre Roberson scored a career-high 17 points and grabbed 12 boards of his own.

The Thunder only shot 43.3 percent on the night, but they went 31-of-40 from the free-throw line. Meanwhile, the Warriors made just 41.3 percent of their shots and committed 21 turnovers, 12 of which came from Curry and Draymond Green.

Game 5 is Thursday night at Oracle Arena.
