Toronto Raptors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers: Live Score, Analysis for Game 2

Matthew SchmidtMay 19, 2016

LeBron James had 23 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists as the Cleveland Cavaliers routed the Toronto Raptors, 108-89, at Quicken Loans Arena on Thursday night to take a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Just like in Game 1, the Raptors hung in this game early and actually had a lead midway through the second quarter, but the Cavaliers closed the half resoundingly and took a 62-48 lead into the break.

Cleveland remained in control from that point onward, with Toronto failing to get the deficit below double digits the rest of the way.

James shot 7-of-13 from the floor and 9-of-17 from the free-throw line, and his triple double was the 15th of his postseason career.

Kyrie Irving led the Cavs in scoring with 26 points, going 12-of-22. Kevin Love added 19 points.

DeMar DeRozan led the Raptors with 22. However, Kyle Lowry struggled once again, chipping in only 10 points off a 4-of-14 clip. He also committed five turnovers compared to only three assists.

As a team, Toronto shot just 40.2 percent from the floor. This also marked the first time the Raptors lost back-to-back games in these playoffs.

Game 3 is at the Air Canada Centre on Saturday.
