Suns G Devin Booker Spends Day of Lottery in NY with Fan with Down Syndrome
Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker represented his team at Tuesday’s NBA draft lottery.
But he wasn’t alone.
The First-Team All-Rookie member was accompanied by Jenna Warren, a young Suns fan with Down syndrome. Her family has season tickets and first met Booker during a pregame warm-up routine last year, per David Gardner of Sports Illustrated.
Since then, the two have formed a genuine bond, which is why Booker decided to bring Jenna’s family to the lottery and tour New York beforehand.

The Suns received the No. 4 and No. 13 (via the Washington Wizards) picks, but the former Kentucky standout said Jenna helped put everything in perspective, per Gardner:
"“To her, it doesn’t matter if we win or lose. It doesn’t matter whether we get pick No. 1 or No. 14. She makes me remember what’s bigger than basketball. She’ll be good either way, so I’ll be good either way.”
