Matthew SchmidtMay 13, 2016

Goran Dragic scored 30 points, Dwyane Wade added 22 and the Miami Heat defeated the Toronto Raptors, 103-91, at American Airlines Arena on Friday night to force a Game 7 in their second-round Eastern Conference playoff series.

For the first time in this series, the Heat had an offensive explosion, scoring 61 points in between the second and third quarters to take control of the game.

Miami's 32-point second period, driven by 14 points from Dragic, was its highest-scoring quarter of the series.

Dragic was sensational, getting to the rim at will and finishing 12-of-21 from the floor. He also contributed seven rebounds.

Wade shot just 8-of-21, but he made some big plays down the stretch on both ends of the floor to help preserve the win.

Kyle Lowry led the Raptors with 36 points and DeMar DeRozan chipped in 23, but no other Toronto player scored in double figures.

As a team, the Raptors shot only 41.5 percent, going 4-of-16 from three-point range.

The Heat shot 47.6 percent from the floor and buried seven triples.

Game 7 will be at the Air Canada Centre on Sunday. The winner of that contest will move on to face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals.
