Warriors Coach Steve Kerr Says Damian Lillard Played Like an All-Star in Game 3
Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard was arguably this season's biggest All-Star snub, and he has made it his mission to prove it.
Lillard went off for 40 points, 10 assists and five rebounds in a 120-108 victory over the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals on Saturday. It marked the third straight game at home this season that the Trail Blazers star dropped 40-plus points against the defending champs.
When asked if Lillard played like an All-Star in Game 3, Golden State coach Steve Kerr couldn't help but give Lillard his props. The Weber State product will need to continue to shine for the Blazers, who are down 2-1 in the series, when the two teams meet up Monday for Game 4 at the Moda Center.
