Dwyane Wade, Kyle Lowry and Goran Dragic All Hit Clutch Shots in 4th Quarter
The Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors traded clutch shots late in the fourth quarter of Game 2 at Air Canada Centre on Thursday.
Dwyane Wade hit an isolation triple over Cory Joseph with 37.9 seconds left to bring the Heat within a point, 84-83.
Kyle Lowry answered with a pull-up jumper on the other end, potentially icing the game with 14.9 ticks remaining.
Nope.
Joe Johnson took the ensuing inbounds pass and drew two defenders, which left Goran Dragic open beyond the arc. The point guard—who received eight stitches after taking an elbow, according to the Heat—nailed the clutch shot, tying the game at 86 with 10.5 seconds on the clock.
Lowry air-balled a three at the buzzer, sending the game to overtime.
After all this madness in regulation, the Raptors stormed the Heat and took home a 96-92 win in OT.
