Dwyane Wade Got Emotional When He Learned He Was Prince's Favorite Player

Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade found himself at the center of conversations Sunday when television cameras caught him with tears running down his face before Game 7 against the Charlotte Hornets.

While many wondered what came over the 34-year-old Heat guard, nobody knew the reasoning behind the pregame tears. Until now.

Wade took to Twitter on Monday to explain that his emotions got the best of him after he had learned that he had been Prince's favorite player:

Prince died April 21 at the age of 57.
