Following a 100-98 win on Sunday at The Palace at Auburn Hills, the Cleveland Cavaliers (No. 1) have swept the Detroit Pistons (No. 8) and are on to the second round.
Cleveland was led by Kyrie Irving, who had 31 points and five assists. LeBron James added 22 points, 11 rebounds and six assists. And sharpshooter J.R. Smith hit five threes for 15 points.
Detroit was led by Marcus Morris and Tobias Harris, who combined for 47 points. Harris also had 13 rebounds. Reggie Jackson pitched in with a 13-point, 12-assist double-double.
