The San Antonio Spurs pulled off an opening-round series sweep against the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday at FedExForum, winning 116-95.

San Antonio's veteran core of Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker can use the extra idle time as the franchise prepares for a prospective sixth championship push.

The Grizzlies at least made Game 3 respectable after suffering two blowouts, losing by single digits, 96-87. However, the injury-ravaged hosts had the odds stacked against them against the Spurs.

Lance Stephenson scored a game-high 26 points off the bench, but it wasn't nearly enough for the Grizzlies to keep it close.
