Memphis Grizzlies vs. San Antonio Spurs: Live Score, Highlights and Reaction

Kawhi Leonard scored 20 points and the San Antonio Spurs routed the Memphis Grizzlies, 106-74, at the AT&T Center on Sunday night, taking a 1-0 lead in their first-round Western Conference playoff series.

The Grizzlies actually made things tough for the Spurs early, holding Gregg Popovich's club to under 30-percent shooting in the first quarter.

Late in the second period, San Antonio only led 39-37, but the Spurs closed the half on a quick 9-0 run to take a 48-37 advantage into the break.

From that point on, it was all Spurs.

San Antonio promptly blew it open in the third quarter, outscoring Memphis 33-14.

The Spurs continued their onslaught in the final frame, going up by as many as 36 points.

Leonard shot 8-of-13 from the floor and added four steals and three blocks.

LaMarcus Aldridge added 17 points.

As a team, San Antonio shot 51.9 percent and went 10-of-23 from three-point range.

Vince Carted led Memphis with 16 points. 

Lance Stephenson was the only other Grizzly in double figures with 14.

Memphis shot 39.2 percent overall.

Game 2 is Tuesday night at the AT&T Center at 9:30 p.m. ET.
