Charlotte Hornets vs. Miami Heat: Live Score, Analysis for Game 1

The Miami Heat (No. 3) cruised to a 123-91 victory over the Charlotte Hornets (No. 6), Sunday at AmericanAirlines Arena.

Miami was led by Luol Deng, who scored 31 points on 11-of-13 shooting. Hassan Whiteside added 21 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks in 26 minutes. Dwyane Wade had 16 points and Goran Dragic had 10 assists.

The Hornets, meanwhile, got 24 points from Nicolas Batum and 19 from Kemba Walker, but that was about it. Charlotte was crushed on the glass, losing the rebounding battle, 42-28.
