Heat vs. Pistons: Score, Video Highlights and Recap from April 12

The Miami Heat defeated the Detroit Pistons, 99-93, in the Motor City on Tuesday night to provide the Eastern Conference playoff picture with a bit more clarity. 

While Miami's seed is still unknown, the Pistons are locked into the No. 8 spot and a first-round date with the top-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers. 

All five Heat starters finished in double figures Tuesday night, but it was Joe Johnson who stole the show with 25 points on 10-of-15 shooting, including 3-of-5 from three. 

Tobias Harris and Marcus Morris paced the Pistons with 16 points apiece.
