The Golden State Warriors (70-9) are now three wins away from history after beating the San Antonio Spurs (65-13), 112-101, Thursday at Oracle Arena.
Stephen Curry led the way with 27 points and nine assists. Harrison Barnes pitched in with 21 points and eight rebounds. And Draymond Green went for 18 points, seven assists and six rebounds.
The Spurs were led by Kawhi Leonard, who scored 23 points on 8-of-12 shooting. LaMarcus Aldridge added 11 but shot just 5-of-16 from the field.
