The Villanova Wildcats' NCAA title celebration will make its way to the City of Brotherly Love on Friday when the national champions parade starting at 20th and Market streets following Monday's buzzer-beating 77-74 win over the North Carolina Tar Heels in Houston, Texas.
The victory—which was capped off by Kris Jenkins' picture-perfect triple as time expired—gave Villanova its second national title in school history and its first in 31 years after the Wildcats upset Georgetown in 1985.
Now the Wildcats are set to revel in pure championship glory with the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and bask in the glow of their accomplishments as Villanova's student body flocks from the suburbs to celebrate one of the most impressive NCAA tournament runs in recent memory.

Tournament Recap
Given the way Villanova limped into the NCAA tournament, a title run seemed improbable just a few weeks ago.
After the Wildcats bowed out of the Big East tournament with an upset loss at the hands of Seton Hall, the selection committee knocked Villanova off the No. 1 seed line and down to a No. 2 seed in a loaded South Region.
However, the Wildcats channeled that disappointment into a spectacular showing that included a mix of blowout wins and strong defensive efforts against some of the nation's most dominant teams.
As if a 92-69 win over the University of Miami in the Sweet 16 wasn't good enough, Villanova followed up its regional semifinal performance by locking down and limiting Kansas to just 59 points in a five-point win to secure a spot in Houston.
"The Wildcats defense was spectacular and smothering all tournament long," USA Today's Nicole Auerbach wrote. "Villanova’s shooting was nothing short of legendary; 2016 Villanova trails only the 1996 Kentucky team—'The Untouchables'—in its average margin of victory throughout the NCAA tournament."
When it came time to shine on the game's biggest stage, the Wildcats didn't disappoint. Beyond drubbing Oklahoma by 44 points (Final Four record) and besting the Tar Heels behind Jenkins' jaw-dropping shot, Villanova poured in buckets at the most efficient clip in Final Four history, per the NCAA's David Worlock.
Villanova finished the Final Four by shooting 64.9 percent from the field, which left ESPN's Jay Bilas with just a few words to describe the champs' display:
In the end, "amazing" is one of the few words that can adequately describe Villanova's run.
From Jenkins' shot to a wire-to-wire dismantlement of Oklahoma and the team's ability to outlast Kansas in a bruising battle, the Wildcats proved they were capable of winning a shootout or slugfest.
With a legendary finish in hand and plenty of partying remaining, it's time for Villanova to celebrate arguably the greatest achievement in program history.
