April Fools' Day is almost here, which means everyone needs to be on alert for possible shenanigans.

Unfortunately for Golden State Warriors center Festus Ezeli, Andre Iguodala got the "fun" started early this year.

Iguodala teamed up with Lyft to pull a prank on Ezeli. With the Warriors (68-7) chasing the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls' single-season record of 72 wins, the team has no need to make roster tweaks as it prepares to defend its crown in the playoffs. However, the 26-year-old big man was led to believe he was being released.

That's just cruel.

Nobody wants the Michael Scott treatment, especially if you are an athlete gearing up for a championship run. Luckily for him, Ezeli is still on the Warriors—so Iguodala better be on his toes Friday for any sort of payback.
