The Dallas Mavericks kept their playoff hopes alive with a 91-89 win over the New York Knicks on Wednesday night. 

Dallas shot just 41.2 percent from the field, but J.J. Barea saved the day with 26 points, seven assists and five rebounds off the bench. 

Carmelo Anthony paced the Knicks with 31 points on a night when Kristaps Porzingis was forced to sit due to a shoulder injury.
